The real cost of gambling sponsorship

I hear what you're saying but I personally wouldn't be inclined to go and put a bet on or open an account with some gambling companies because I've seen there name on some footballers shirts. In fact i don't recognise half the sponsors they carry to be honest!
Just my opinion!!!
 
That’s all we’ll and good but didn’t FBS use a relegation clause to stop the partnership early?

It’s therefore not something we instigated, had we stayed up I’m sure FBS would have remained.

Okay we could have gone to another betting company for sponsorship and didn’t, I would hazard a guess that the primary reason we didn’t is due to lack of time.
 
As a kid, I remember counting the cost of gambling sponsorship to our club. With the old First Division then underwritten by fruit machines, Leeds cashed in with a Cherry, Man City hit the jackpot with their title winning Bell while we ended up with a right couple of lemons.
