"A picture of sartorial elegance!"
Did anybody else feel the celebrations were a bit forced? We celebrated something that we shouldn't have been part of?

The best analogy given to me was;

"A bit like celebrating a date with Thora Hird when you've already been out with Kate Bush!"

Kate fucking Bush? I'd rather be nobbing Thora Hird than that wailing fucking banshee!
But I fully agree – it felt to me like they were trying to pretend that they've repaired all the damage of last year, whilst they've barely started scratching the surface. Thanks to all this "(un)fairplay" fucking bollocks, we may never regain the high ground of '21 that TCR etc threw away.

I said exactly to the wints. It was very
‘ modern plastic’. We’ve probably been spoilt but Glos is correct. It almost felt dirty us being there. It’s been for me a strange season. As for the 100+, selfie taking Thai entourage? WTF.

I’ll have you know Thora was a right goer in her time

I am getting more and more uncomfortable with the disconnect between ourselves and the club. The level of which is heightened and really comes to the fore when we have a bit of success.
I don’t begrudge the owners success, but why do I feel like I’m having my nose rubbed in it, and ought to ‘know my place’ while a trophy presentation is hijacked by a troop of hangers on tramping all over the pitch that I have been instructed to go nowhere near on pain of death.
The Preston celebrations were from the heart, it’s a shame that the trophy do was so shambolic.

Piss-poor, from start to finish.
For me, the day was all about thankfully completing an on-off season of games after several years away, thanking Albrighton, and seeing some good friends – especially two who've been a bit crocked recently. Everything the Club did / provided, I could easily have done without.

If you have already been out with Kate Bush you have nothing to complain about.

Thora Hird was a very talented actress playing the old woman role magnificently in many films and TV programmes.

It was an awful day from the what was served up on the pitch during and after the game. It just confirmed the disconnect I have for the vast majority of this squad.
Always going to happen on the pitch. It was a case of after the lord mayor show. It was good though to see Enzo try things that might happen next season.

I thought it was just me that now feels disconnected from the club and present team, My season ticket is in the Walkers Hall but having been banished from the main hall our present room keeps getting sub divided for corporates areas. On Saturday it was full of people just there for the party not even football fans, these usually stand up when the action starts, they arrive late to there seats and leave early for half time break, After seeing the team selection and performance I just wonder what the Hell I go their for?

Not just you mate, a great many of us. Which is why, sad as I am about it, I am walking away.

I wish I had stuck to my original plan and left at full time.
250+ "others" on the pitch spoilt it for me.
IMO I wasted my time watching a farce.
l fucked straight off to the Symphony Rooms , l was that disgusted in that performance that was typical Enzo "l know best".

We should have attacked from start to finish, it was like Rodgers Man U last game failure , just let everyone down to try and bolster their ego's.

I want Enzo gone, and l won't apologise for that opinion.

Who'd have imagined 8 short years ago we'd ever be airing views like this? How have we gone from having a club the envy of every supporter in the land - and beyond - to being a faceless corporate blob, do as we say or else, a financial disaster area inhabited by unaccountable suits hopelessly out of their depth.

l have a strong suspicion that Susan Whelens is on her way out.

Something happened in London last week that leads me to think this is a strong possibility.

I must admit my first reaction to the idea of a Clock Tower rerun of Blackburn and Preston was too much and will be a bit embarassing but obviously I was wrong.
The fact is that there are lots of fans who don't get to matches like women. kids, elderly and ethnics who were glad of a chance to hail our heroes and take the chance to show pride in our modest city.
Leicester does not get much chance to cheer itself so will grab any chance, however modest, to give it a go.

That's that covered then, non elderly white adult males go football, the rest get the parade.

ridiculous, when we won the premier the next game against Everton we played them off the park, everything about saturday lacked professionalism from the performance to the trophy being shown around the ground , did the players and trophy even get to family stand.

Intriguing, but not so fussed about Whelan, would even go as far as to say she has done a great job. According to the Athletic she negotiated the Maguire sale and was instrumental in bringing Claudio in.
Which leaves Rudkin. Reading between the lines even Maresca seems to want him gone. I struggle to understand how he has survived.
