Andy King

He is and will remain one of my favourite ever Leicester players.

So under appreciated and yet players with half his talent and contribution got and continued to get lauded.

Is he still the only player to have won the League One, Championship and Premier League titles? Certainly I think he is with the same club.

Quite remarkable really.
 
King always makes me think of Mike Stringfellow, not just because of the resemblance in look and temperament and smoothly stylish play, but also for their selflessly effective dedication to the Leicester cause. Both played roughly the same number of games for the Citeh, both were understatedly good at scoring regularly, both kept their heads down on and off the pitch, and both contributed significantly to team success, though King was lucky not to suffer the same injury hoodoo as the Mighty String, with the latter’s career definitely a game of two halves. Neither were either of them the sort to produce delirium-inducing touches of magic, like Weller, or Mahrez. King and String were simply very good servants to the cause, the sort of players any decent club needs in any era, but which are in much shorter supply these days.
