I’m totally confused by this game. Obviously in normal circumstances I’d want to go the whole way to Wembley again and win it but seriously can’t see that happening what with this game and the two Manchesters plus Liverpool still being in the cup. Plus if we did win, it would be another championship game postponed. Getting out of this division THIS season is absolutely vital. Hence my confusion. I’ll still be there though on Sunday to cheer us on!

I’m with you there LG.

Whilst I think we should play a semi second team to give us the best chance of promotion, it’s the quarter final of the FA Cup so how can you not play your strongest side?

Be very surprised if both sides don’t put out the managers opinions of there strongest side.
No game for 2 weeks, no excuses
Then a minimum of 9 games in a little over 5 weeks. Whether you think that it's reasonable that we appear to be knackered as a squad or not, they do appear to be (as I have said previously I am not surprised). I'd be surprised if there wasn't some squad management from us.

KDH looks shot to pieces and Winks is starting to look jaded. I can't imagine either of them playing against Chelsea. Likewise Mavididi. Ndidi is a more difficult call because he's coming back from a long-term injury and needs minutes, but if he's rushed back on Sunday and gets crocked again there will be hell to pay. He'll probably be a sub.

Promotion was always our overriding objective this year and our situation re: PSR/FFP has only emphasized that further. An FA Cup semi-final would be nice but getting out of the Championship in an imperative.
