No, that’s trueUnbelievable.
Wouldn't have given them a sniff at 19 for 4.

Most of them are it's been quite the weekend already for me as most of my good mates down here are very pissed offFirst demolish Southampton, then beat Hampshire.
The poor bastards who live in that county must be suicidal!
Enjoy it while you can. Most of them are it's been quite the weekend already for me as most of my good mates down here are very pissed off

They were. When I last watched cricket regularly in the 70/80s if the bowling side could restrict the batterists to 7 or 8 needed per over in the last few overs then they were in good shape. But the commentators seemed sure Hampshire were odds on to win from 10 overs out.
Looks like they may have changed their minds!!Fantastic victory with 4 local lads in the line up, and a big congratulations to Leicester Ivanhoe for bringing on MOM Harry Swindells.
It's a shame the side is breaking up, I'm not sure if you Roofers know, but Harry has been released from the County and has to look for a new club.
His Mum was in same block as me,she wad in bits during last overFor a 19 year old to bowl that last over took some balls. Well played kid.
Such a waste of money given Handscomb is staying on + club have Hill and Swindells.A source told me that the new wicket keeper the County have brought in is on £80,000 pa
Leicestershire were 2.38 (11/8) on betfair pre toss and Hampshire 1.72 (8/11) so only slight underdogs really.I’ve not taken much notice of the county in recent years albeit I did realise we were pretty awful. So a question about yesterday.
They said that the team they played were pretty much all youngsters that they’d decided to play in this competition and stuck with them. So how big a shock was yesterdays win. Hants are it seems a much better and bigger side yet we won. What were the odds to win yesterday? The commentators seemed to be saying it was an unreal win. Thanks.
I think there were restrictions on parachuting hundred players into the Final if they hadn't played in earlier rounds.....We had more first teamers available for the comp as Hants were decimated by Hundred call ups. To the credit of both clubs they resisted the temptation to promote the returning big guns for the final.
With respect, I reckon anyone else who has invested much time watching the county over the past ten years would also have had them a damn sight longer than that, nor been particularly surprised by the first half hourLeicestershire were 2.38 (11/8) on betfair pre toss and Hampshire 1.72 (8/11) so only slight underdogs really.
You’re probably right in terms of how Leicestershire fans might have felt. With respect, I reckon anyone else who has invested much time watching the county over the past ten years would also have had them a damn sight longer than that, nor been particularly surprised by the first half hour
