But probably cos of your tender years back in 2008 you missed the highlight of that day.
Mac was released from Charles Street nick by the OB well after 11.00 that night.
He made his way to the Black Boy where a load of us were enjoying a late drink.
Unfortunately for him your Mum was in the pub. As soon as she saw Mac she tore into him verbally taking lumps out of him - all about should be ashamed of himself and what sort of example was he giving to his kids.
PeteLCFC and I had to turn away wincing at the verbal lashing being dished out.
I'm sure Mac would have gladly opted for a good kicking from the Charles St custody officer if he could have swerved the mauling he was getting in the boozer.
Everything your Mum said was spot on and right but My God what a tongue lashing!!!
It was the highlight of a very packed day!
As it happened some of us provided some written references for his court case and his ban wasn't as long as it might have been.
