Aged 78, they seemed a lot more than 15 years older than me when they were on the telly.

They’d probably cause another battle in the ongoing culture wars nowadays, don’t remember anyone getting upset by them at the time.

My dad loved Hinge & Bracket and so I remember watching them in the late 70s. I'd have been around 10/11 years old and enjoyed them whenever they were on tv but it's incredible (to me) to think George Logan would only have been in his early 30s then! They really did look and act like they were in their seventies.
I'd have had him long gone by now. Yes, a great act 👍.
 
That’s how closet gay men had to be in those times. They had to play a part to be accepted into the main stream. Glad you found it harmless, because if it was today, you’d be hanging flags out your window to support the poor gay men in dresses.

If only there were more enlightened people like you around at the time they could have been hounded out of a career.
