I think now we are through the reset of the footballing side of the club. I know there’s still a lot of things to sort out by Khun Top on the contract side of things and FFP etc.

But there still for me remains one big elephant in the room sitting amongst the players and toasting the championship win and all that but he has are far bigger responsibility to answer for with regards to the state of the club and maybe now is the right time to remove him and reset that side of things with a professional football business executive.

Let’s see if Rudkin remains unfortunately I fear he will but he surely has to go in the cold light of the facts he has presided over.

Whelan I don’t really know if she has fully capitalised on the successes in the last year which has pushed LCFC onto the global platform but we could potentially being doing better.
In years gone by wherever you was you never saw kids in the back of beyond in our shirts you do now though which is a measure of how far we have moved.
 
Whelan always was a King Power employee. Unless she gets moved into a different area of the business she’ll remain in her position.

They’ll never remove both of them and have a clean slate either so I think she’ll remain.

If there are going to be any changes Rudkin has to be the one.
 
Hard to see Rudkin going anywhere. You have to assume he was instrumental in recruiting Maresca and probably played a major part in Seagrave. He also probably negotiated Rodgers exit so at least in the eyes of Top he has done a good job.
Best thing that could happen is a BCC takes him as their DoF!
Btw totally agree that he is a large part of how we ended up getting relegated, and that we need some a proper experienced replacement. Since Steve Walsh went as chief scout things have been on a downward spiral. Shocked that we were 8th biggest payers in the PL. We have and will continue pay the price for over reaching for years to come.

Apparently Enzo was introduced to Rudkin after he’d signed.
Rudkin has been sat there looking very glum recently, didn’t crack a smile until we beat Preston.
Top didn’t shake hands with him when the goals were flying in against Southampton.
The amount we ended, allegedly, paying Rodgers probably doesn’t reflect that well on Rudkin.
Rumour that Whelan and Rudkin don’t get on.
