Football6

Changes like the weather and mostly not for the good of the game.
Over the last 80 years lve watched mostly with open eyes for the blue shirt, not seeing anything wrong the game, apart from some stupid referees.
But since that almighty become the called the Premiership came into being the change in the scenery has become so apparent sometimes its unbelievable yes we had big clubs years ago but not to the extent we have today since the League started.
Players have been elevated to Film star status and boy are they showing it.
Referees are more highlighted than ever before but less competent.
Rules have changed not to suit football as a whole, but pamper the already pampered player.
Years ago play was for 90 mins, today god knows, players then ran through brick walls to get a result, now IMHO cheating is rife and Refs comply with it, this wonderful game is blighted by officials with little knowledge of what they are doing supposedly to modernise but the game didn't need modern ising it a simple game to play and watch
Without any tampering from officialdom
Now these modernists have turned this game into a circus just for the sake of Money
Where will it end god knows but the moneymen will make sure it will be a moneyspinner for the Big boys to gain even more of a stranglehold on the game, unless
The customer becomes fed up with the antics of players and officials making a mockery of a brilliant game

Totally agree, sport is not run for the average man/woman in the street its now a huge business, The Gambling , transfers , and TV hype is just a way of extracting more money. The rule changes you mention do not improve it as a spectacle its now like watching walking football, and VAR just highlights the corruption, with all those camera angles how can so many mistakes be made? The standard of player is not much better than a senior league player from the 60s but we are expected to treat them like Gods. Sorry I am showing my age now, Rant over, but I do mean every word.

Its laws not rules..just saying like
The Laws of the game are the codified Rules of Association Football ( Wikipedia ). So I would say both terms can be used. Apparently it was the Premier League up to 2016, there after it is the Premiership ( so must be under maritime Law ) and the fault of Leicester city

In all probability we should have let the high and mighty have their bloody league and let everyone else get on with the game of football
