Liverpool’s are a skittish team this season and their away record is poor. If Smith picks the right team, Monday is a winnable game. Not easy, but winnable. But it does depend on Smith getting it right.

Smith is probably realising that the task is harder than he realised.

Sorry but it ain't happening.
Liverpool are scenting Newcastle wobbling for the CL. They get within a point by beating us.
The bottom line is that too many of our players won't be here next season and can't be arsed.
Everything about us is a mess. If you haven't accepted it yet then I hate to inform you the players have.
If you read my post about what my family member said when he travelled back on the team
bus after Fulham, then you would realise the game is up for us
This is literally the end of our most golden era.
Goodness knows how long it will be before we get back but I fear that the club is in such a mess that an immediate bounce back is unlikely

Of course I accept that everything is a mess. It’s an absolute shit show. And I don’t assign a high probability to us winning tomorrow. But if Smith picks the right team and the crowd creates the right atmosphere, Liverpool are beatable. And while there is even a faint possibility of survival, we need to believe in it - because relegation could ruin this club for a generation.

The only thing I can say is Top is still a wealthy
man but as a leader he is not a patch on Vichai.
It all depends on how committed he is on getting us back and on the front foot again.
If he's still got fire in his belly then we will return, but if he's lost interest then it's a totally different story
