Grim reading

Could of been copied and pasted from any number of posters on this site over the last year or so.
Whilst the club has been horrendously lethargic, the fans have seen the alarm bells from a long way out.
And that’s the truly astonishing thing. How can so many elements have been missed by the owner/ employer of a subversive employee/s

We all worried that the Rodgers’ version of events would be picked up by the mainstream media. It’s not (though doubtless, he will still give it an airing). The even bigger worry is that the lack of fight and nous we saw in the match last Monday will carry over into the next three games. I sincerely hope and pray that that much bigger concern gets dispelled too.

It's why I said in another post that the chances of an immediate return are unlikely.
An era in the doldrums awaits, just like when we're relegated from the Prem last time.
Ah well just cling on to some amazing memories.
Nobody could of thought when we were promoted what would happen.

Disagree, there were lots of grumblings after the summer transfer window . After Rodgers fuck up against Brentford and the disastrous first six games there as been plenty of people questioning the club's demise.

the way a lot of fans have been treated regarding tickets etc will not stand them in good stead. I've heard lots of stories were people have lost their season tickets for basically nothing, except the club want more money.

We will have to agree to disagree then.

Still say it was that Forest cup game.
We were unrecognisable from what we had done over the previous seasons. That was hard to take and probably the first real signs that all was not well.
Hang on - I was the Brentford game you said

So 2 of your senior coaches crying to their friends over texts that they couldn’t cope with running the side for a full week!!
So it seems Stowell & Sadler are more useless & pathetic than even I imagined.

You can pinpoint the Forest game as to when something wasn't right. It was a day where we just didn't perform anything like the team we had been previously. You could of taken that day as being a blip, but in hindsight it was the precursor for far more alarming things.
What followed was the 3rd consecutive poor transfer window and Rodgers Brentford fuck up. The following five or six games woke the fans up to the fact that the club was in for a difficult season and more accurately an accelerated decline.
You can knit pick if you like but most people know that this decline didn't start halfway through this season, it had already set in.
If anything clouds it, it would be the terribly mistaken media driven notion that we had enough quality to avoid a relegation scrap.
They didn't counter for the quality players that we have got, not having the stomach for the battle.
Flat track bullies and all that. They lapped up the acclaim when the times were good and then went missing when needed the most.

Isn't the author of that piece a poster on here? Certainly used to be.

Anyway, can someone fill me in on sadler/stowell texting their mate? That's passed me by.
?

Where are all the Brendanites, or Rodgerers, take your pick? Some of us were yelling it from the highest point on The Roof, “he’s bucking us up, he has to go”. We were invariably met with howls of derision from the ”reasoned, thinking”, element, that he is our greatest ever manager and should be supported through the “blip”! Theres no sign of them now. Its the same on social media platforms, they must all be hiding behind their sofas, blindfolded, with their fingers in their ears.

‘disappear into the woodwork’

To recede or absent oneself from public view; to become or remain hidden in society.

We lost quality players either through retirement, age, or transfer. And replaced with extortionate mediocre players, and paying silly money in wages. This debacle has been on the cards for at least 18 months more likely 2 years. It shows the recruitment team wants sacking and those that oversaw this shambles giving the bullet.
In fact it needs a clean sweep from Rudkin right down to the coaches.it won't happen because it would cost too much

that was his wycombe ...
