The 6 yard box used to be the keepers. KS doesn’t command his but I’m not sure that was his ball from a very good corner. Evans just faacked up big time.
 
Gtif have you ever played in goal I have for 8 seasons and if so had,'nt have come out for that OG I'd have had my arse kicked from touchline to touchline there was a catch or a punch on there FFS
 
Only for about 25 seasons Kendal, played at representative level in goal at gaelic football as well and coached keepers thereafter and if any keeper I coached had tried to come for that when the centre half had an unopposed header I'd have kicked HIS arse

I was coached he'd by an ex - pro keeper from the age of 16
and he would have kicked me for not dealing with anything in the box

It was hardly a driven in corner was it.
Plenty of time to read the flight of the ball & if it’s a free header for Evans, it’s a free ball for someone who can use there bloody hands.

The point is WHY would a goalkeeper come for a cross that is normally easy meat for a defender, it was a total fluke and no fault should be attached to anyone, it was Evans ball all day and night long, but as the first man who ever had diarrhea said shit happens
 
Been following this thread,can see both sides and its all about opinions however as an ex Keeper albeit in the Sunday League
Evans would not be heading that ball out in my six yard box
The call would be "Keepers" and my Centre backs would get out of the way !
 
The way we play and Kasper has always played is to rely on the defenders to clear the ball. He did it in the title winning season with Morgan and Huth.

Okay and as the ball landed on Evans head do you really think you would have reached it in time.
If you would Usain Bolt has a rival, and interestingly nobody on Sky analysing the goal has suggested it was Kaspers ball
 
The fact is we didnt lose the game on that mistake,we lost it all over the pitch for whatever reason we didnt turn up!
Lets move on to Braga away and go again 👍

Like I said its about opinions and just expressing mine
Kasper is a great shot stopper but he doesn't command his six yard box, thats just the way it is!!
