….given our current goal difference advantage, I still reckon one win and two draws giving us 35 points may be enough to save us.
We all tend to fear Leeds, Everton and Forest will win all of their remaining games or at least not lose and we’ll lose all of ours.
That’s very unlikely to happen and if it did then we’d deserve to go down.
No doubt it’s a tough ask but I just have that feeling starting with Fulham next Monday.
A Saints win at Forest would help massively

Surely it's time to be realistic?
Expecting to stay up after a miserable start yielding one point from about 20 is optimistic.
Expecting to stay up after doing that TWICE is lunacy.

I’m normally glass half full when it comes to Leicester but I don’t see us getting points from 3 of our final games.

We'll get five or six
Can see us drawing with Fulham and Liverpool and beating the Hammers
Buck lnows what will happen in Newcastle that is always a mad game

It’s not lunacy. It’s all about now not then. If we consider 5 points from 4 games unrealistic then we might as well fuck off now and watch some cricket. If (and yes it’s a big if) we get 5 points then Leeds and Forest would need 6 points and Everton 7 points. I’m feeling cautiously optimistic …

Correct and buckin right

All I was saying is that any team that makes two really fucking shit starts in the SAME SEASON deserves to go down.
Especially when they also finish very limply, unable to stop conceding first, and incapable of holding on to leads.

I expect we will get 4 points and it will be enough. I think Leeds and Forest will also get 4 points and go down. Everton will probably get 6 points and finish above us.

We couldn't beat Leeds or Everton, so i have no idea how we'll win games against teams better than them.
We need 4 pts, i think we'll get two.
hope v reality.

I just hope we can get to the 28th of May not needing to beat West Ham to stay up.
I hope that we are at least in a position where beating West Ham keeps us up

You never know, it may be a crunch game for West Ham as well.

Before playing us. They have Man U this weekend at home

Brentford away with Europa Conference Semis either side

Revitalised Leeds under Big Sam after the second semi

Then again, 34 points with a decent goal difference may already be enough ....

What might present a tactical headache is if we need one point at WH although I reckon we will not actually know
what we need before kick off.. Best just win every match before that and everything will be OK.:)

We beat Wolves, who are better than Leeds and Everton. Fulham have lost five of their seven games since Mitrovic was banned. In addition to him being out, they’re also missing their best centre-half and their best midfielder. They are beatable.
