Just Watched the Whole Game Again

and l don't think we were as bad as l thought.

Iverson was even better than l thought.

N'Diddi and Soumare were our only problems all game.

Vardy was quality and anyone who thinks hes finished are off their nut.

The back 4 were very good - and l particularly watched Thomas who didn't deserve the criticism.

Barnes was crap, but he can be a match winner so as to start next week.

Nothing more to say about Daka l guess, but "why" ? as mentioned earlier.

I'm a bit more optimistic of staying up after watching it in a less stressful mood, we were ok bar the obvious 3 and that excuse who came on....

We'll get something at Fulham if we sort that midfield out. UTC...

Can’t see what Daka could have done with the service he got last night it was shocking

When he did get it, not kicking it 15 yards ahead of himself (and towards the defenders) when trying to dribble with the ball and not losing balance when running in a straight line would have been a start. To be fair one good chase back and retrieval (without a foul for a change) was admirable but that was it.

when he got the ball in acres of space i was yelling at the telly to run into it, instead he seemed to immediately look around for a pass, which to me is lack of confidence, looking to offload as soon as possible. was it him that delayed a pass to vardy by 2 seconds letting him drift offside when i quick pass would've put him in?

Yeah definitely lacking confidence hopefully new coaches can help

I also noticed that, but in fairness they all seem to do it these days apart from Faes & Soyuncu bizarrely !!

Interesting point that Bnet makes about having a more reasoned opinion when you can analyse the game, without the pressure and nerves you feel when it's live.
I was mortified with the way we started the game, Everton were much sharper than us and the space we conceded in dangerous areas lead to them inevitably taking the lead.
We really need to start games better and get on the front foot more. That is our strongest card (going forward)
I don't have much confidence in us trying to contain an opponent, but we can be dangerous when we are more attack minded. In general it probably creates a rollercoaster, but we probably need to have the attitude that we are going to outscore the opponents rather than the chess match approach.
It's in the melting pot, 50-50 imo, but ultimately I think we will need to beat West Ham in our last game.
Hold on to your hats.

Everton's plan was basically to pump the ball forward at every opportunity, the fact we struggled to deal with that is a bit worrying when West Ham and Antonio could be the decider.

Hopefully West Ham won't have the same motivation as Everton.
It would increase our chances if they are technically on the beach
