It's a funny old game Brian for sure and the so-called form book was defenestrated for the duration of the compo leading to much lower scoring than might have otherwise been expected. All praise then for my pinko commie comrade David_Nish for fine tuning his tea leaf reading to such profound effect. He has asked me to donate the £30 winner's prize to 'Water Aid' who bring life saving clean water and sanitisation to people in the Global South - though why he should want to line the pockets of those thieving capitalist bastards at Thames Water is a mystery to me!

Next season I'll be hoping to repeat the compo in the concluding games as we aim to repeat the miracle 2015-16 season.
