Does he think what he looks like, Have a word
I enjoyed the documentary, though. I bought Too-Rye-Ay with my pocket money when I was eight. I think it's stood the test of time.

Yep - I saw the same thing. I described it as a documentary because of the interview, but that’s probably not the right word. His outfit was typical of an ageing rock star who knows he can’t dress the same way as he did when he was 25 but still wants to flex his rock ‘n’ roll credentials in a more subtle way- eg with purple suit and a straw boater. I’m not sure it really suited him, but I didn’t hold it against himWhat documentary was this, I was commenting about his appearance whilst catching the “great albums played live “ thing on Sky Arts
I don’t particularly hold his fetish for dressing up in character against him, I just find it a bit pretentious when he waxes lyrical about being true, pure and honest from the heart, he clearly loves a bit of theatre with the sound and looks of the woolly hats and donkey jackets soul rebel to the training hoodies and boxing boots followed by the Celtic troubadour image and ultimately failing with the Ivy League suits with the third album.Yep - I saw the same thing. Dance Stance their debut wasn’t just a classic soul sound but also a great rebuttal to the “thick Irish “ myth and the first two albums were two of my favourites during a period of plenty when it came to being spoilt by choice of great music in my opinion, but Rowland is a wrong un, and dresses like a cunt. There, there my dear & Geno, classics.
Great covers of Breaking down the walls of heartache & seven days too long.
Went downhill fast after Come on Eileen
