Martinez on a short term contract -- Incoming

Everton fan I know said a good while ago that if he became our manager he’d advise me to cancel my season Tckt, Turgid football.
& I’ve had enough of that to last me a lifetime thankyou.

I'd be really concerned about appointing him
Better off with what we've got left on the coaching staff

My Everton mate says the same. Mind you he says that about all their recent managers, with some justification.

The board are pursuing exactly the right policy.
The main task is to stay up, and keeping the staff who know the playing staff
inside out is best.
Then a long term new man can be recruited in the knowledge of where we are.
No 'big man' is going to come in except with a short stay contract at the moment.
Watch this good set of players go now the jeremiah has left. :)

Yep, they've always been good players - I think they'll fly now the shackles are off!
