Our wingers

The constant rumours about other wide men suggest that Enzio is on your page.
Nobody expected a lad to carry a whole season ..

I thought he was better than McAteer was, but that's saying fuck-all.
And Stephy looks bang average, but if you spend 1/6th of Barnes you ain't going to get much. He did show that he learned how not to lift his finish from Barnes in the short time they were here though!
Now, if Enzo can improve him, then great....

Looking back I don’t think we have a dribbler apart from Iheanacho when he’s had a sprint, both wide men yesterday just stopped and passed the ball back from where it came or to one of the back 3, how we would love a similar player to Mahrez…

remember though===when Mahrez first came he just looked like sh1t Knockeart

Piper wonders if it is managers instruction to not try to beat the man, same as man city. Grealish never tries to beat a man, but passes inside as per their tactic.

Don’t remember it that way at all.
Remember mahrez having 15/20/25 minute cameos off the bench early doors & him looking 10 x the player he was coming on for in dyer. However Pearson still stuck with the extremely limited dyer for several games

I also thought he was a class above our players when he first joined, playing through balls but our forwards just didn’t appreciate how good they were, his control was and still is fantastic…
