We had some real characters and proud men in that team though, Eliiott, Taggart, Izzet, Deane, Dickov and McKinlay which meant they weren't for buckling. Not sure this Everton has any of that type of player.

True, but I think the likes of Coleman and Young – not to mention DG – will be more than good enough to avoid the drop again. Dyche is used to dreadful starts, and won't panic. Shame, but I think we'll have to take our solace from Wolves dropping instead.

Agree. They just never go down. More than once they've gone to the last day. Seem to have that charmed life that Cov had in the top light for 35 years or whatever it was. And yes, they've got a few individuals who always pull their weight for the club.
