Refereeing question

In a recent national competition game over here the ref who I know to be a very good official had to deal with this
Penalty shootout player has to score to keep his team in it
Shot hits the post rebounds hits the goalie and goes in
Goal or not ?
 
All I'll say for now is the ref bucked the job up and got it wrong I will post the correct decision at 1 pm

Did the goalie move before the kick was taken?

If not, then the goal stands as the ball is still 'live', i.e. hasn't stopped moving, in a similar fashion to this:

Certainly no expert but in penalty shoot outs i cant remember having seen a goal given after striker scores following a deflection/save from a post or the keeper which suggests the ball is dead after hitting either

Got a shit memory though
