Stay or go?

The Leicester Mercury lists twelve players who could leave. They are:

Marc Albrighton
Kelechi Iheanacho
Dennis Praet
Wilfred Ndidi
Jannik Vestergaard
Yunus Akgun
Callum Doyle
Abdul Fatawu
Harry Souttar
Danny Ward
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Jamie Vardy
======================================
Fatawu, Vardy and Dewsbury-Hall must stay as far as I'm concerned. The fact that all three aren't certainties yet is a big worry.

The others are fully or at least partially expendable, depending who replaces them. Of course, a lot also depends what offers (if any) come in for those that aren't out of contract.

Iheanacho is out of contract and down in the pecking order. I guess he'll sign for somebody else. Ndidi I'm less certain but it depends if or what the club offers. Akgun?

Vestergaard I reckon will stay. Maresca seems to like him despite his obvious weaknesses.

Doyle is a loan.

Again, it's ridiculous that players such as Ndidi, Iheanacho and Praet might leave on a free.

I hope the questionmarks over transfers and contracts will be out of the way soon and won't turn into a protracted saga over the summer and beyond.

The BBC has an article on its website that lists six home-grown talents that could be "sold for pure profit" and outlines the P&S Rules as the reason. One of the six players in the article is KDH.

Six homegrown stars who could be sold for pure profit

Selling on homegrown talent makes perfect sense from a financial & ruling standpoint (PSR) but it's another nail in the coffin of the dying connection between clubs and their local fanbase!

I bet Ward will be hiding somewhere when the exit transport arrives!
