Most of the tactical fouls were coming from Sunderland - at times it was like rugby. Of course that little shit of a ref failed to notice it.

That was me. I’m not sure it’s good to see but if others do it and get away with it sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

Personally I don’t like it and the fact that everyone does it doesn’t make it right. There would be total outrage but I think refs should start booking or even sending off people for niggly but obviously deliberate fouls. It’s just cheating and if it were stamped out make the game more open and entertaining.

our game management at the end was just as you want it. keep the ball up the other end and give away little fouls to break up play when it isn't.

The point is, you don't get plaudits from the owner for playing like gentlemen, but not getting the job done. Enzo is on a clear mission to get us promoted this season, and I suspect is on a massive bonus to deliver this.
Our game management is already streets ahead of where it was under Rodgers. Yes, we pick up a lot of yellows, particularly given the possession ratios, but with a deep squad we can afford the odd suspension. Plus, only 7 goals conceded in 13 games.
