U16s win Premier League Cup

For me one of the things we need Seagrave for is to develop young talent to bring into our own squad and to sell some on for a profit.

I don’t see the evidence that we do enough of that although clearly this result is an indicator of success of the set up.

Seagrave has only been open a couple of years.

That team last night had a couple already in the England set up for the age group.

The star of our young plays Sammy Braybrooke is going out on loan, surely we need our best players here.

Alves as no had a look in either, who is probably a close second.

Look at Foden and Cole Palmer and how they were brought through, Liverpool are doing it as well as Man City.

KDH was out on loan too long and never got the chance, what is he now 24 ? and only really in his first season.

Year on year Foden has had more starts and game time. Man City have managed his development superbly and resisted all the calls to farm him out elsewhere from so called experts and fans.

I hope they do well. Some of these kids look like world beaters then it doesn't work out for one reason or another. My mate's son represented England at under 15 and 16 on Chelsea's books. Now playing in National League South.
