8 more wins

Realistically, a win at home v Southampton and a win away at Leeds will be enough. We’ll pick up enough points elsewhere to at least finish second.

Statistically, I think we need 11 more wins to finish second, assuming Leeds win every remaining game, which is unlikely.

I am surprised we haven’t broken further away from these two teams since Christmas. I’m sure we will at some time.

Because they keep on winning too and we have dropped a few points (Cov and Ipswich) that would have seen the gap widen

I expect that we’ll be further ahead by next Saturday night. They’ve both got two difficult away games this week and can’t see them winning both. We should win both our home games. All we have to do is then not lose to Leeds and Southampton in our games vs them

Seems worst case scenario is that we may need 109 points. So 11 wins and a draw. Think that assumes we lose to both Leeds and Southampton.

Every football fan thinks we are the champions elect. I’m still nowhere near celebrating this. Let’s see what occurs over the next few weeks. I’d be happier if Southampton and Leeds were to drop the odd couple of points here and there.

Feels similar to 2016, people saying to me we've won this. I always say we've fucked up too many times to be complacent until it's confirmed.
