Alexei Navalny.

Wonder if Tucker the eager puppy would have asked Putin about this had it happened before the interview?
Probably not
"So Vladimir, there's been a lot of speculation about how Navalny died. Would you care to comment?"
"Of course. It's all very unfortunate - he was shaving in his prison cell and accidentally cut his own head off. We're all terribly upset - although we were political opponents, I respected him enormously."
"Ah - mystery solved then! Thanks for clearing that up, Vladimir"

Yes this and the Wagner guy whose aircraft mysteriously blew up half way to St Petersburg. I seriously think Putin is right up there with Stalin. A truly despicable piece of crap

I have just finished a great book by freelance journalist John Sweeney called The Killer Putin. The man is a serial killer, sweeney has followed his progress for years and is a very brave man, his life has been threatened more than once. Putin thinks nothing of killing his own countrymen to further his rise to power and add to his vast wealth. A seriously good read.

A politician working to advance the interests of hostile foreign powers should expect to be jailed or worse, it doesn't seem unreasonable.
I get that, I just don't understand the point in relation to the posts in the thread. On the substantive point, was he sentenced to death then for sedition?

On a substantive point, what the fuck's it got to do with an American journalist interviewing Putin? Nothing.

Navalny wasnt much different from Putin in his politics.
