To be fair he didn't actually say that. What he in fact said was his knowledge was equal to those 3 goons. Give Allardyce the budget those 3 have and he'd run them close I'd say.

i doubt the fans of said teams would put up with his long ball style for very long, just like previous clubs fans didn't.

To be fair is what comes before a cough at the back breaks the silence at open mic night.
 
We all dissed the decision of Palace to bring Hodgson back and look at how that turned out.

Okay Leeds is a different proposition altogether but he may well pull off the impossible. We’ll find out soon enough.
 
£2.5m bonus for keeping them up apparently. That’s 25 days work and just 4 games. Modern football eh. If he does it it’ll keep him in pies for ever

I, like many thought hodgson wasn’t going to work out like you said, however he did know the players extremely well right from the off si that was a bonus in their situation.
Can’t see Sam doing anything at all though. Players don’t look the right fit for his style at all + the ridiculous short space of time to work in aswell.
His interview has come over as someone who is bitter with the game. I mean after getting the ultimate dream job ( in his eyes I feel) as England manager & lasting only 1 game & then only having that Short spell at the Albion since I reckon he feels he’s been cast aside in the game.

+ He is also on 500,000 quid for the 4 games to be played and that is guaranteed!
 
The older he gets the more he resembles Jack Kirby's Incredible Hulk.
