Another mass shooting

The attack was America's 129th mass shooting of 2023, according to Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit that tracks gun violence data.

Still I'm sure someone will mention that it's not the guns that kill people and everyone will just settle down again until the 130th incident.

To think that Bowling for Columbine, the Michael Moore movie/documentary about mass USA shootings is over 20 years old now. It’s got worse and worse.

In the 23 years from 1982-2004 there were one or zero mass shootings per year on 15 occasions. Since then only one year has had one or less with double figures on 5 occasions, all in the 7 years. A lot have been at schools. What a complete mess in the so called most powerful country in the world.

Like anyone gives a shit - other than those on the Left

Must admit that I say Fuck 'Em.
If they can't – or more likely don't want to – sort it out themselves, why the hell should anyone else give a shit. Concentrate on something you can influence if you have to be a do-gooder.

Or just a human being with some compassion.
I don't understand how you have time spare for poncing tickets and the like when you're so busy being compassionate over stupid fucking yanks who can't or won't sort out their own huge fucking problems. And when you're also done with all the other deserving causes of misery around the world, you must be exhausted.

It shouldn’t be that difficult to feel compassion for murdered children who can’t sort out gun control.

Surely it’s time for republican senators to risk losing their seats and make a stand against gun nuts?

Why is now not a good time to disarm yank citizens?
Should I even be asking as I don’t want this thread to disappear into the conspiracy void?

I said that I admit to not giving a shit about the latest victims, but it's their cunting problem. Not only do Republican senators need to get a grip, but the parents, uncles, teachers, neighbours, family friends – oh, and as it's the fucking yanks – the church people need to sort themselves out. Hand-wringing signalling thousands of miles away by Brits ain't going to do fuck all for anyone.

It’s Bentleys, don’t think we expect/assume we’re going to make any difference, just something to discuss. Calling it signalling is somewhat strange.

What a pathetic post. Got my tickets, thanks for your concern. Took all of 5 minutes, leaving plenty of time for some compassion and a bit of wokeness. As long as you're OK, fuck everyone else.

Now you're just being a bit of a cunt IMHO, if you can't understand that this has nothing whatsofuckingever to do with "as long as I'm OK".
It's about people wasting their time muttering about being concerned about a problem – as despicable as it is – that can only be sorted out by the very arseholes who created it and sustain it to the detriment of their fellow countrymen (and the occasional unfortunate foreigner who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time).
I thought my original post was pretty clear. Obviously not.
