We'll play well in the first half Brendan will write notes (a shopping list) during the first half and they'll come out the second half looking for shops and wondering what to do.
 
I was speaking to an Arsenal fan at work the other day. I told him that we were much improved and would give them ‘a proper game’. Feel a bit silly now.

I just feel he will tell the players there is no shame in losing 1-0 to the League leaders as they are a Top Top team with Top Top players and we aren't at that level yet!!
Its so negative,his mantra seems to be give it a go at teams we can look to beat and against these so called Top teams if we get beaten dont let it be by too many!

He sets the team up and sends them out to play in his way its throwing the players under the bus by saying comments like he did!!!

That was the same as the Man City defeat 😠
 
Rodgers is a coward.
The KP should be somewhere where opponents feel intimidated.
I don't mind losing if we compete. I detest his defeatist/give their Manager a big cuddle attitude.
Then the pathetic repetitive excuses are trotted out.
FFS grow a pair.

I beg to disagree.
First half Nacho was our only outlet. Great first touch, great control, looks up no one there as we're still camped on the halfway line.

And if this is about the chances we created, plenty of other teams have had 90 minutes with no shots in target so what was so special/ poor about us yesterday for this to be the calculation?

The account was created in February 2017, which means that our attacking performance on Saturday (measured by the number and quality of chances created) was the worst by any Prem team in six years.

It also shows that without Maddison we’re screwed.

Well quite. A few years ago we were a team with strengths all over the pitch, which meant that while Maddison was an important player, it wasn't a disaster when he was missing. Since then we've declined in so many areas that Maddison has become our most important player by far. His absence weakens us in a way that it wouldn't have done a few seasons ago.

He's irreplaceable, as you say. So we'll need to change the way we play. Massive summer ahead.
 
Certainly need a new style of play, as players of Maddisons calibre don't come around too often unless you pay the earth.
We do need a ball winner in midfield another striker, can't see Tete as an option,
and unless KDH improves as he is one
Dimensional with little flair
