Or never return the favour...Or suddenly tell you they have forgotten to go to the cashpoint as they arrive in the pub to collect the ticket.

Founder member thank youCWCDL (and I had a long list).
The Bear had a bad limp since a car crash in 1974I can't believe 'ponce' hasn't been mentioned. To ponce is much maligned by some but I've never see the problem - tickets that would otherwise be unused get paid for re the seller ought to be in receipt of a pint or two by the grateful recipient. A win-win scenario.
That's if the transaction is conducted properly and in a gentlemanly fashion of course. There has been some notable abuse of the arrangement: GTIF and the Bear running off with Charley Farley's ST being the most obvious, though the aftermath was a very funny saga.
Ireland beats England to HOF awardIf there was a Hall of Fame for threads on this board the story of the Missing Season Ticket would be in it.
Colin. Much maligned on here but a good bloke. Mildly criticed us once but mud etc...Ha haa, some of the season ticket ponces were good fun to read on the old Bentleys, I never had a problem when I let some of the Roofers use my season tickets when I couldn’t make the games...
Can someone please enlighten me and tell me what the heck CWCDL is?CWCDL (and I had a long list).
On the old roof site,it was much more difficult to link an article, song etc(.For me & a few others anyway)Can someone please enlighten me and tell me what the heck CWCDL is?
Walt has got it in one: Caaants Who Can't Do Links. It wasn't just a few, just about anyone who attempted to do a link (me included) fell foul of the technical requirements to achieve it. I updated the list of the names of those who failed from time to time - it went to over a hundred in the end I think. On the old roof site,it was much more difficult to link an article, song etc(.For me & a few others anyway)
I'd hazard a guess at caants who can't do link.
An educated guess,I should have gone on Wheel of fortune.Walt has got it in one: Caaants Who Can't Do Links. Edit to add... ironically I'm pretty sure the original 'Caaant' (and we all know who that is don't we pop pickers?) didn't appear on my list. He didn't have the basic technical wherewithal to even attempt to do a link
