Bit sluggish at the moment.

Not sure I'm loving it because I don't feel we should be here but it's nearly a completely new team and I don't blame them for where we are and I'm fully behind them in their efforts to get us back. We all know that it was TCR who sabotaged our PL status.

For the first time I thought that we had tired legs throughout the team during the last 20 minutes when we are usually stronger

they were also tired, thats why the used all the subs, one of there's even pulled up with cramp near the end. Maybe we looked tired because they didn't let us play our normal way as the possession % was the closest all season.

I suspect it's likely to be poorer year on year, if only on the basis that the PL clubs are increasingly hoovering up virtually anyone who can kick a ball straight, or even half-straight.
Last year's 3 up are tending to support that view.
Try counting up each game the number of times our defensive mistakes would be pounced upon in the PL, the number of times that better forwards would draw pens, the number of free-kicks in dangerous positions that would be scored, the piss-poor standard of corners, and so on.
Don't get me wrong, it's great to win games, but it's all about levels for me.
Was a really piss poor corner we scored from

That we face, not take. No threat since Hamer's for Cov, that I can readily recall. And we conceded one against his. But now even he's been snapped up by a PL team, which supports a previous point i've made about this division being poor.
But seeing as you mention it, we've not exactly been making the most of ours before tonight's (which was against awful defending), have we?

This division is quite competitive and some potentially strong teams in it.
We call it what you like but we have hit the road running made a fantastic start which is breathing confidence throughout the team and the club and winning is becoming an habit in whichever league you are in so enjoy it while it lasts whether it’s just for a few weeks or hopefully 10 years.
For sure we will hit a rough patch probably around January time but by then hopefully we will have enough of a cushion to absorb a few draws and heaven forbid lose one or two games 😊

I think it's obvious that there will another big player overhaul in the summer. The gap to even 17th place in the Prem is enormous!
I think it's been mentioned on another thread that realistically there are only 4 or 5 that look anything like Premiership standard.
We'll just have to plough through this shit league and see what happens come the summer. The problem will be finance and availability of players of quality to fit Enzo's system. No doubt we'll go up but..............

Despite my natural pessimism I am really enjoying this season. Enzo has worked miracles to get us off to this start and listening to his astute and accurate post- match comments on Sky was utterly refreshing after TCR. You can only beat what’s in front of you and so far we have done that bar one game and it is so much nicer trudging home after a win. I frankly can’t be arsed speculating about how we would fare in the Prem because we aren’t in it and if we do go up the team will be very different. I just pray Enzo stays with us because I love the man.

I think this point is spot on and something about Enzo tells me he is a far more honorable man than the last prick. For sure we won’t keep him forever as he seems destined to a big club sooner or later but I think he’s one to honor his contract at least I hope so.
