Borbage....Did you see them

Was upstairs with the telly on. Didn’t hear a thing. ARP Warden took my gas mask back yesterday!
 
Yes they were low. I actually felt the Chinooks pounding my chest. The Apaches were quieter, but looked more menacing.
 
Red Arrows were over Leicestershire this morning around 10am. East of the county and towards Oakham en route from base at RAF Waddington heading for Fairford,Gloucestershire.
 
RAF Fairford has a 9,990 feet runway with an unrestricted load-bearing capacity to support any aircraft with any type of load.
Fairford currently also hosts a detachment of USAF Lockheed U-2S Dragon Lady aircraft of the 99th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron.
It is the USAF’s only remaining European airfield for heavy bombers!
