Just chalk n cheese from how we’ve started the season yesterday.
Hunting in packs was back in our game.
The movement of our players when in possession giving options for a pass was a joy to see.
Iconic soyuncu was back because evans was back. What a defender & presence evans is.
If that is the player that Soumare is, then happy days.
Maddison had his “good” arrogance back & we desperately need him to continue to challenge top 6.
Vardy was The Vardy. Thank god he gave england the two fingers.
Finally we have to keep the 2 up front. We can worry the shit out of any team.
Sorry, can’t forget a mention for iheanacho. I know he’s had a cracking 7/8 months in front of goal, but his work rate & pace was something else yesterday.
UP THE CITY.
 
It was a joy to watch BUT the analysis on MOTD did show how poor MU were at pressing the ball and allowing us room to play through them. We certainly exploited it ruthlessly though and it was, hopefully, the performance we needed to reignite our season. The next game will be interesting.
 
Great analysis. We taught them a lesson yesterday. The next two games are Moscow away and Brentford away. Both will be really tricky, two wins from these two and we’ll be cooking on gas.

Great to see Madison looking more like his old self yesterday. There seemed to be something throughout the whole team, looking more like the side we've seen the last 2 seasons. I hope it continues.
 
I only saw the second half but Brentford absolutely battered Chelski, however they didn't score is beyond belief. It will be a very tough game next Sunday

One thing that really highlighted the difference for me yesterday was our 3rd goal. Normally when we kick off the ball goes straight back to Kasper or the centre backs mess about with it, yesterday we play it forward & score within 15 seconds. Wonderful.

They’re a very good side and aren’t afraid to cross a ball as they have some real aerial threat.

We will need to be up for it and ditch the shitty zonal marking system.
