After going at teams and scoring 4 goals a game and getting results we've gone back to the uber defensive passive setup.
I'm sure rodgers will call it a good result to only lose by one to the leaders, but we let them walk all over us for 95% of the game.
VAR gave us a freebie as their disallowed goal looked harsh, they took their goal well, but we just let them play their game and barely made any attempt to disrupt it.
File under very annoyed.

Devil's advocate but the ref was shit (I admit were fucking awful but) from the first whistle every tackle went in their favour. No wonder we thought "What's the point"

That's because 'every tackle' were made by them, we just stood off them for 90 mins. You can't blame the ref, they had a goal chalked off because Ward can't punch properly but whined enough.

fuck me that's atrocious.
 
I’ll blame the ref, arms around our players, climbing on players, time wasting, failing to book Saka for kicking the ball away, checking a player was ok when there hadn’t been an offence and he was off the pitch.
Then we only get 5 minutes additional time when it must have been at least 8. Awful officiating.
 
After going balls out for the first 2.5 games in February, the undercarriage was firmly retracted for the last 1.5. Shame, because there was nothing to lose letting them swing after such a good start.

Funny you mention our soft underbelly because SSN were mocking us today. Saying that we weren't enraged enough last week because the foul on Faes was a red and we should have been in the refs face about it like the BCC's would have been.

Interesting that @Tuz_Not_Tuzz said Ward whined to the ref enough to get their first chalked off. We don’t usually whine anywhere near enough and haven’t for ages.
