Saw them tonight in Morristown, NJ. There’s a reason they are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - they were absolutely superb.

Went back for a second dose, this time at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City. They are missing a Brother, as Tom Johnston is apparently still recovering from surgery, but this was a bigger venue than in July, so they ended up playing what felt like a more expansive and longer set. Legends.

I saw an interview with the Doobies from about a year ago where they were openly talking about going to Europe and Australia, but that does not seem to be materializing yet. By the same token, they seem to have no intention of hanging it up any time soon, so you never know.

Doobies again last night, this time at the NJ PAC, and this time with Tom Johnston playing.

I’m not a huge fan of the Michael MacDonald stuff but I’ll tell you what, when they crank it up they are awesome!
