It was but had the games been played at 3pm on Saturday we'd be talking about Wes Morgan's goal winning us the league not Hazard.Well that equaliser against Spuds was very welcome at the time - I seem to remember. Very welcome indeed.
My favourite non Leicester goal, but spurs imploded weeks before that.No one thought Wes's goal had won the league. Everyone knew that Hazard's had.they Especially when Spuds completely imploded after it went in.
You're somewhat missing the point here, had the games been played at the same time we would never discuss the goal from another game as being the winner, it would have been Wes's equaliser that gained us the point that won us the league at Old Trafford. No one thought Wes's goal had won the league. Everyone knew that Hazard's had.they Especially when Spuds completely imploded after it went in.
Well lets hope they implode again this season. My favourite non Leicester goal, but spurs imploded weeks before that.
No, the referee blowing the final whistle in the Chelsea v Tottenham game (in which Hazard did indeed score).Just asking like...can anyone remember what sparked the celebration at Vardy's House? Wasn't it Hazard's goal ?
No, the referee blowing the final whistle in the Chelsea v Tottenham game (in which Hazard did indeed score).
The point is that it is part of a false narrative whereby Leicester didn't win the League (and indeed not even that Tottenham lost the League) but that Chelsea won it for Leicester (forgetting the 35/36 games that had gone before). That the wider football world succumbs to this laziness is one thing, that so many Leicester fans do is fucking crap.
Don't get me wrong, terrific night, one of the best but it didn't define the season in which we won it.
The West Brom equaliser told them they could not touch us, we knew before that but we’re deluded. My favourite non Leicester goal, but spurs imploded weeks before that.
