We should rinse them too
That’s that thenThe chair of the commission, David Phillips KC, also referenced applications for financial compensation from current Premier League clubs Burnley and Nottingham Forest and last season's relegated sides, Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton.
Phillips said he was "satisfied that the applicant clubs have potential claims for compensation" - but noted the commission holds no "inherent jurisdiction" and it is instead "the role of the Premier League to bring and prosecute complaints"
I don't see how they do, when were they last relegated from the top flight? Why do forest have a claim?
That’s exactly why it’s been carefully considered, deliberated, and ultimately decided…..that 10 points deduction will not relegate them. Their performances have been studied and the powers that be are quite confident that they will overcome the 10 point setback. Not 12….. that was a little too risky, but 10.sad thing is that it is such a poor league this season that they will probably stay up.
My heart bleeds for them . .Yeh.....the rags are all over it... Everton say its unjust penalty......They have picked on Everton as a reasonably easy target, Man City have been cheating for years and so have Chelski.
The Man City case has rumbled on for years with no repercussions for the club, let’s not upset the Arabs and the Russkis/Yanks they own most of the country and we need the money.
The Man City case is more complex because they’re denying everything, whereas Everton admitted it. I still think Man City will face a punitive relegation at some point. They have picked on Everton as a reasonably easy target, Man City have been cheating for years and so have Chelski.

There is a lot still to come out in the wash. This case has been going on for years, with Everton dreaming up increasingly implausible reasons aimed at reducing their level of overspending. Earlier this year the PL had had enough and told the Commission handling the case that they wanted a decision by the end of last season. The Commission said no, it would have to wait. Had they agreed the points deduction would have meant they went down and we stayed up.
I still blame Maddison, though.
