FA Cup Semi final

I’m just waiting for it to go to ET and Man City lose it. Pep will be complaining they’ve had to play 120mins twice in less than 72hrs.
If he does the presenter should ask him

1). Will you be thinking of ducking out of the FA Cup next season on account of too many games?

2). So you’re saying you weren’t good enough to beat RM firstly over 90 and then in the extra 30 mins. Chelsea too?

I’d go for the bloody jugular

First thing out of Pep's mouth, "its unacceptable"

Shearer, "You could change the players around, rotate your squad!"

I was half joking wints. But there you go. I’ve just given the tv a right effing mouthful and my lovely wife piped up ‘language Timothy’ Well done Shearer.
Health of the players. They’re football players not miners going 2 miles underground or some young Ukrainian kids fighting for their lives! FFS

Talking of Ukrainians how bad is Mudryk. £89M!!!!

Practically the last kick of the game. A free kick wide, but on the edge of the box. Massive overhit and out for a goal kick. Needs a right good kickin'

I take it back what I said to you during the match that Mavididi is an awful winger. It seems he has serious competition

So this was in 1973. Heavy pitches yet we played twice inside 24hrs. I’m assuming the same side too. Weller scored in both games!!
Stick that in your pipe Pep!

Thanks for that Ansteyfox. ( I’m from Cropston BTW!) So just one change. As they didn’t stay overnight very regularly in those days it wouldn’t have surprised me if half of them were out at some club in London! Woollett probably went on a visit to Battersea dogs home.
Mind you I suspect Jimmy gave them Sunday off! He was always a soft touch but we still loved him.
