Fair play to Gray

Very similar to the goal he scored against us at St Andrews, that persuaded us to buy him.

I’m pleased for him to be honest-pity it never worked out here....
He’s bound to ‘bag one’ on the 19th...

So you don't think he would replace Perez or Lookman in the team?
So we have got Lookman who was an Everton reject and they have Gray whom we didn't want. Which ream got the better deal? Lookman was rank at Southampton and I couldn't believe he kept his place for the Villa game where he was even worse. I'm struggling to recall any one thing he did right. We would have been better keeping hold of Under.

Scored a good un at the Wolves...better then Perez and Lookman put together

In fact Lloyd Dyer better then them 2

He had chances for us for sure.
Long sustained periods of starts?? Absolutely not.
He’s been picked for Everton every game, except when he’s been injured, so clearly he is feeling the love. Maybe, just maybe that’s what he needed (there’s loads out there that need that feeling to play to potential)

just watch seamus colemans interview afterwards for the problem with gray.
coleman basically says he has all the ability in the world, but is a slacker in training. he says he's constantly telling him that the top players do it every single day in training, not just occasionally on match day. he needs to work harder.

It works for some players at certain clubs and then bombs at others. Look at Haller. Couldn’t hit a barn door at West Ham. £45m. Sold for half to Ajax and had just scored tonight and only the second to score in all 6 group games.
