Yeah, we've had this convo before.

- I ask you to point out which global national govts are 'authoritarian woke', given so many are actually relatively right-wing, & are largely the instigators of much of what you mention

- You say they are not 'true right wing' & in fact there are some nefarious left-wing people actually controlling these govts

- I then ask you to highlight who these nefarious people are

- You give me a list of people that only you (& the other sages here) appear to know the existence of (but no specific names), which in your mind proves you right, but it's all couched in the same terms & words as you've already listed

And all the time, I imagine you saying what you write here in the voice of Jacob Rees-Mogg. It's irrational but I can't help it.
 
If the last four years have taught me anything it is the simple fact that left or right no longer exists in the political world, just sticks for the various activist groups to beat each other.

Most of the world is now run by huge multinational organizations, some of which we may know, financial institutions like Blackrock, the Central Banks, big business/corporates and in recent years the tech giants.

Our government is in the middle of giving away what is left of our sovereignty to the ‘alphabet’ agencies of the United Nation and continues to sow doubt and fear through a large section of of the populace. To my mind these actions are so consistent and destructive that it can only be deliberate.

Let yourself down a bit earlier, blabbering on about the authoritarian woke left...
That's the sort of phrasing that those who are really in control of the strings, like to repeat through their puppets.

In this country, the ’authoritarian woke left’, (dreadful name but I really do not know what else to call them) have a stranglehold on on the political and social life of the people of this country. If you have any public profile and you dare to question the narrative your life can be ruined.

They are used by the supranational entity’s (that you call ‘the man’) to be a distraction from what is going on which is the systematic destruction of the political, economic and social fabric of the Uk.

Whilst I totally agree that this has been going on for a lot longer than 4 years, it is only this period that has brought it into sharp focus for me. I admit to not being a ‘political’ person until very recently, so I accept that I have rather a lot of catching up to do but to me, the upcoming disaster is orchestrated and quite obvious.

Some insightful posts on here. It's always a pleasure to read when people go deeper.
Back to Farage. I like him. He's not perfect, and sometimes I've really disagreed with him in the past, but I got where a lot of ideas and sympathies come from.
But despite all that, that he's still open to deals with Johnson, shows a huge flaw in his judgement. It's done for him in my eyes. Really. Guaranteeing more of the Uniparty that our Blairite, Labour-Tories love. He might be someone I quite like, but I doubt he'll ever deliver what I'd like to see happen.

Living costs?
I know a lot of people who hate their jobs, hate the companies they work for.
What are they supposed to say?
Don't pay me?
No, I refuse you to offer me a pension?
