I am not afraid to say it but I'm Sad to

Since our Triumph which I thought would give the game a shot in the arm when it was needed, sad to say that it has not been the case.
It has given the Moneymen more armoury that it had before the big Six have become stronger through the F.A. and F.I.F.A. Finance has played a bigger part than it did before.
Rule changes in monetary factors has given
The rich and famous more breathing room
Than it's ever had and it's killing the beloved game.
It's caused the corruption of many football organisations and officials than we ever heard off before whilst the poor fan has nothing and nowhere to turn to but pay up and be happy.
Lost in the money pit this simple game has become a monolith of greed and power
no longer a reasonable level playing field
But power grab of finance giving less fortunate clubs little chance but to overspend their resources in an attempt
to keep themselves in the top tier.
Where will it end!! as the less fortunate go to the wall and the wealthy get their way with a super league and football as we know it degenerates into oblivion.
Money talks less sense but since when have wealthy people and organisations had sense when cosseted

I used to love the old amateur ethos of Corinthian Casuals. They would purposely miss every penalty kick awarded to them because they thought it “not a gentlemanly way to score a goal”.
Corinthian Casuals FC,
Promoting Fair Play,Sportsmanship and the Corinthian Spirit since 1882.

Our national team have a similar outlook.

Reflects society .

Never see the like of little old Leicester City winning the Premier League again, the bent Officials who run VAR and the introduction of 5 subs (top 6/8 bench’s are worth more than any other clubs whole squad) have gone against us mere mortals, thank feck I don’t pay for Sky or BT as watching this modern version of football is awful…

We pretty much all said at the time that the BCC’s will all ensure it’ll never happen again. We embarrassed them beyond belief.

With Newcastle now in the mix even a 4th place finish will be a real achievement for any outside the top 7. Or a cup win but even these will be rare outside the bigger clubs.

The main problem with football here is that there are so many bodies running it in competition instead of one body running it harmoniously for all.
Just in England we have 3 bodies fighting each other, and currently the one with the most money calls 99% of the shots which are not for the good of the game.
