I remember that. Tried to come across as all knowing. Then got rather irate then sulked. Foxgolfer was claiming that no one has died or had any serious ill effects from the vaccine and thinks everyone should have it.Somebody called me a liar when I said the vaccines were not approved when first rolled out, they got really worked up. How does someone not know this before its pumped into them?
I was called all kinds of things when I pointed that the vaccines were untested and might well be dangerous but an awful lot of people believe the narrative which I find strange. I know that half the population have an IQ that is below average and the attention span of a goldfish, but seriously...Somebody called me a liar when I said the vaccines were not approved when first rolled out, they got really worked up. How does someone not know this before its pumped into them?
Well you may have missed it, but there was something called "Everybody In" during the first lockdown where all homeless people were offered a place in local authority temporary accommodation or a hotel place. The streets were literally cleared of homeless people. Shame the money isn't available to continue with it. Can't imagine it's a policy or anything.can anyone explain why the homeless who haven't practiced "safe distancing" wore a mask, been jabbed, haven't been wiped out by the worst thing that ever infected planet earth, first ?
The answer is = its all bull shit and you all know it.
No then !Well you may have missed it, but there was something called "Everybosd In" during the first lockdown where all homeless people were offered a place in local authority temporary accommodation or a hotel place. The streets were literally cleared of homeless people. Shame the money isn't available to continue with it. Can't imagine it's a policy or anything.
OK, in simple terms. They were taken off the streets in the first lockdown and placed mostly in hotels and asked to wear masks. Those on the street are outdoors where the risk of spreading the virus is decreased. HTHNo then !
nonsenseOK, in simple terms. They were taken off the streets in the first lockdown and placed mostly in hotels and asked to wear masks. Those on the street are outdoors where the risk of spreading the virus is decreased. HTH
Are you saying that didn't happen?nonsense
Do you honestly think homeless drug addicts are going to be sitting in hotels with fucking masks on when told? If so you need to get out more and see some of the problems with housing the homeless.OK, in simple terms. yes, there may have been a token exercise for the press but definitely it didn't happen in any way that would make a difference. Are you saying that didn't happen?
My wife spent 5 years working closely with these people. Literally having to go out on the streets and search for them on a daily basis to administer certain drugs. They were labelled “chaotics” … for good reason. I can tell you now, not one of them would have stayed in their hotel let alone wear a mask for any period of time and to suggest they would is plain stupid.Do you honestly think homeless drug addicts are going to be sitting in hotels with fucking masks on when told? If so you need to get out more and see some of the problems with housing the homeless.
This is like all the other stuff. As you have an agenda you have no respect at all for the people who worked hard through the pandemic, like all the nurses, Drs etc, those who lost loved ones. From where I'm looking at it, it was a lot more than a token exercise, the streets were literally cleared of homeless people. I don't see why anywhere else should be any different.yes, there may have been a token exercise for the press but definitely it didn't happen in any way that would make a difference.
Are we on "the computer said -yes" now, well obviously we are !
What if we had an electricity black out, seems you wouldn't be able to have an opinion on anything.
They probably don't, but if you put them in hotels and nobody has the virus then it's not going to get passed on is it?Do you honestly think homeless drug addicts are going to be sitting in hotels with fucking masks on when told? If so you need to get out more and see some of the problems with housing the homeless.
Oh ffsThis is like all the other stuff. As you have an agenda you have no respect at all for the people who worked hard through the pandemic, like all the nurses, Drs etc, those who lost loved ones. You forgot to add 3% of those deaths were due to covid.Living outdoors is an advantage.
Though sadly, deaths rose by a third among the homeless last year.
No, not off the top of my head, due to my wife’s work (she no longer works in that area) and what I do in my spare time when not winding daft folk up on here, I pay a lot of interest in homeless folk. So 36% suicide and around 15% either or both drug and alcohol related I believe.Do you know the death rate among the homed population?
Although that has no bearing on the death rates of homeless to homed. Like comparing apples to oranges. I’m sure you would agree that a massively high percentage of homeless folk would be classed as vulnerable from covid due to their lifestyle. I guess the nearest comparison would be to compare deaths due to covid in care homes/ homed vulnerable to deaths of homeless.Do you know the death rate among the homed population?
Statistics and damn lies as they say. “Of” or “with” is the big one for me.It would be interesting to know the homed percentage of Covid deaths, against all deaths.
The ONS claims for England and Wales, 607,922 deaths in 2020. Of those 73,766 were claimed to be due to Covid. That's 11.5% of all deaths. This is homed and homeless of course.
Quite high for a virus that only took hold in three quarters of the year.
It's a shitty consequence of the decisions and actions that were taken to prevent the pandemic from killing more people. BTW part of my job is finding temporary accommodation for homeless people, that's why I was particularly interested in why bnet thinks it's bullshit as usual. She is having to deal with a lot of deaths now from other illnesses (cancer probably the biggest) which she is really struggling with and has even spoke about jacking it in and finding a normal job where she’s “not having to deal with dead bodies every day” her words. She comments that these people are “our age” and younger. Between 30 and 60. On a daily basis who’s diagnosis and treatment were delayed due to covid restrictions over the last 18 months or whatever. It’s fucking rife, as much as deaths due to covid of the elderly at the start of all this.
So you would know that certain homeless who find themselves in a horrible situation short term are a million miles away from those that are long term and need much more support and ongoing help. Those folk wouldn’t self isolate in a month of sundaysIt's a shitty consequence of the decisions and actions that were taken to prevent the pandemic from killing more people. Firstly my only agenda is to share what l actually know and others don't. Its up to you if you believe me, l don't give a fuck. This is like all the other stuff. do you know how ridiculously naive you sound to people who actually use their god given thinking equipment (their brain in case you are struggling) !It's a shitty consequence of the decisions and actions that were taken to prevent the pandemic from killing more people.
