The optimistic pessimist
Some good posts in Nagerz thread regarding how people on here feel about the state of the game.
I can feel the sense of despair and disillusionment in those posts .
Where is football heading ?
With more and more clubs either picking up sanctions or being firmly restricted, then surely it needs all non BCC's to come together and fight this gross stitch up as one.
How ridiculous is it that the clubs can have very wealthy owners, yet by design will not be able to utilise their money ?
This rank injustice of denying clubs a fair chance to compete at the top should be deemed unlawful.
If nothing is done then the game below the BCC's is going to sink into oblivion.
Wealthy owners at clubs like Newcastle, Villa, Everton, West Ham etc didn't take their clubs over to be scrapping over mid table positions and a rare chance to play in the minor European football competition.
There was an interesting article in the Mercury today about the situation and how the BCC's manipulated the distribution of TV money heavily in their favour, by threatening other clubs with joining the ' Super League ' if we didn't accept their demands.
That brings me to the question.
Would you be happier if the BCC's fucked off and the running of league was returned more to how it used to be ?
Or
Do you accept that we have to bow to the restrictions imposed on us because the game would be nothing without the BCC's ?
