You can’t knock the numbers that turn up at home and away
However it is embarrassing to see literally thousands piling out today
around 85 minutes At the end the family stand was basically empty
the players never even went down there at the end to clap empty seats
Enzo gesturing to the West Stand to get involved he might as well gestured to a brick wall
We have the UFS guys attempting to rouse fans from their slumbers and providing a Tifo
I am in the South stand when WYS was being sung I looked across to the East Stand
fans sat there motionless
Do many of our fans have any assignments for the club or is it a couple of hours away from the box
What was all that about today waving phones round with the lights on
Get involved or move out and let others have a go 😁

Totally agree, the amount that fuck off after 85 mins. I get some need to leave early to beat the rush for mobility reasons, but I was watching all ages/ abilities flooding out.

Agreed, Block M started emptying out after 85 mins, there were three of us sat with three empty rows around us. Bizarre.

I had to fuck off on 85 today as wasnt on my usual bus home. I was surprised how many people were not leaving but had gone down to the concourse and were watching the game on the TV screens. Why?

I agree entirely
It’s bizarre
Top of the league yet by the time the players go down the tunnel we’re down to a couple of thousand left in the ground
What’s up with them all
Nice touch by Vardy at the end taking time speaking with fans and doing photos with them around the corner of the Kop/Block C

So they can watch the end of the game on TV, and then head straight out of the door rather than get caught up in the queues on the steps for 10-15 minutes?

I head down stairs every game when the board goes up.

Can’t be arsed getting trapped in there for a further 15 minutes.

I’ve said before I walk down and take a seat near the exit then leave as soon as the whistle goes.

Last night I went to the club shop to buy a few gifts for some friends in Germany. I wasn’t in there long but the place was deserted when I did.

It’s not just us. At the Emirates they’re leaving in their droves at 85 mins. Many other grounds too. Only ones who generally stay are the tourists.
I think for us it’s a combo of the older lot plus 1000’s like me who have a long journey ahead of them.

There is no doubt if I was going to Brighton again I would leave on 85 mins.
The que for the train back into Brighton is horrendous.

Or you have a beer afterwards at the ground. It’s actually really quite good and definitely a better option than the 30-40 min wait at the station. I’ve done that the last couple of times

Soulsby's fucked up road network for you.
Still if you catch a bus or come on a bike you might be alright.......
You would imagine so but absolutely not the case. Usually my 47 leaves town at 5.00. Because of the ensuing gridlock it will not get down to Counting House Rd/Aylestone Road til 5.25 or later. We then take another half an hour just to get to Knighton Fields Road along Saffron Lane. I usually walk in the house around 6.40 and I only live in Wigston. This gridlocking of the road network is all deliberate by the way. Sitting in a single lane unable to move, engine running, oooh look how bad the air quality is folks. We'll have to ban vehicles anywhere near the City centre...

Did that the last time I went.
If you are not partial to a drink after the game then I believe it's best to leave early.

Or give you the congestion charge.

Good to meet you yesterday FNQ
As LG has mentioned the supporters bar ar Brighton is decent & their fans are OK with Leicester fans being there.
Beats standing in the train queue for an hour.

The one time I went there, the novelty of hanging around in a soulless breeze-block dungeon soon wore off, even before taking into account the added 'attraction' of being in close proximity with a load of celebrating home fans. Where's the appeal in any of that? The ground is in the wrong place, full stop.

I have been twice and we won both times.
Once I joined a long que for the train and 2nd time had a drink afterwards
Yes it is a soulless place to have a drink.
