Looks like Forest are buggered.

That’s exactly what I thought.

Bearing in mind last season Everton finished in 17th and Forest in 16th is this more fuel on the fire for us to take action?

We’d need to ensure we are 100% compliant before we do.

Along with everyone else on here who has been supporting Leicester for over 50 years, I want to see F*r*st relegated at the earliest opportunity. But...

The current sanctioning arrangements are a farce, akin to the Wild West. Leaving aside the determination of the sanction per se (where does a points deduction kick in at all, how many points get docked, how is this decided) on the basis of Everton losing six points for one charge they admitted, logic implies I shall soon be able to watch Man City down at the Shay if only a fraction of the hundred odd breaches they are refusing to cooperate with are proven.

But what does not seem right is the timing of the sanction and ought to be considered carefully. During the season does not seem right, but is it preferable to leaving it to the end ?

Even if they get points deducted, I can't see us going through with legal action. The last thing the authorities will want is the added mess of clubs hauling each other through the courts on top of points deductions. It would create chaos. I suspect that we - along with any other clubs with a grievance - will be strongly encouraged by the rest of the league to allow this kind of thing to remain in-house without the involvement of lawyers. Also, if we did go ahead with legal action and then found ourselves within breach a couple of seasons later, we could expect no mercy from other clubs. I can't see it happening.

Perhaps just give us their's n Evington's points deduction at the start of next season. Seems fair to me.
