Lord Cameron

Lord Carrington was the last previous member of The House of Lords to hold any of the four Great Offices of State before Lord Cameron. He was Foreign Secretary in the Thatcher Government and resigned in 1982 taking full responsibility for not foreseeing the Argentine invasion of the Falklands. As Lt.Peter Carrington he led the first squadron of British Grenadier Guards tanks across the Nijmegen railway bridge during Operation Market Garden in Holland,1944. He was awarded the Military Cross. He remained in the Army until 1949.
After the House of Lords Act 1999 removed the automatic right of all hereditary peers to sit in the House of Lords the “great and good” have got around this by handing out “life peerages” hence this latest “Lord” Cameron shit show!
As a member of the House of Lords with a post in the Government Cabinet the “hastily” ennobled “Lord” Cameron cannot be held “accountable” by MP’s in the House of Commons. Work that fucker out!

Peers receive an attendance allowance of £342 per sitting day plus expenses. Peers from outside of London can claim an extra overnight allowance of a further £174.
There have been reports of a certain number of their Lordships arriving and “signing in” for their allowances then immediately “disappearing”,allegedly!

Fucking wonderful yet to get attendance allowance looking after a disabled person you have to through the inquisition to try to get it ..
