Maddison contract,

Weller

Roofer
Just a thought,
Bearing in mind that he'll be 27 when his contract expires and taking into account the amount of injuries and the type they are ie reoccurring and pretty regular.
Would other clubs be prepared to pay out mega money for him? And on that note would he be thinking how well the club have looked after him and maybe one good contract and captains arm band wouldn't be such a bad thing!!
Or maybe his mate jack might just have a word and remind him it's not all a bed of roses sitting on the bench being slated as a waste of money.
Probably just wishful thinking šŸ’

If he stays with us he may never win more than an FA Cup, if he goes to Man City, and they don't get relegated, he could win almost everything going.

Agree, providing he gets to play on a regular basis, and they tolerate his injury problems!!! And anyway else would he go ????

Think he'd have happily gone to london before he beame a dad but VChelsea are currently a basket case, Arsenal may implode and would he play regularly?

If the rumours are true and Man City are looking at Maddison he will be rotated along with Philips, Grealish and Foden what a waste that would be !

Loyalty is rare in football.
Vardy and Walsh both could of moved on in the peak of their careers but stayed.
You can probably count on one hand how many have been utterly committed to the club.
Sorry, but he's another top class player who will walk out the door.

I'd say there is a chance he'll stay but it's definitely less than 50:50. Maybe 25-30%?

I'm sure the club will point out to him that he's going to be a rather big fish in a mid-sized pond if he stays at Leicester City. Elsewhere he might not be such a big fish but the pond (and the pay packet) will be bigger...

I think the injury worries will not be at the forefront of his thinking. He might even consider more rotation as beneficial in that regard. Add the higher chances of getting into the England team when he's at a BCC. I'm afraid things are stacked against us overall...

Most footballers have massive egos. For a player who could have a pick of clubs at the top level, why on earth would he stay. Higher wages, champions league football, how can he turn that down?
