His girlfriend (now probably ex-girlfriend) posted a series of video and audio clips on twitter of his abuse towards her. Utterly sickening. His career may well be over.

only just heard this not heard details yet. Apparently her photos on Twitter have now been removed.
 
Sadly it’ll go nowhere. She’s an young ‘influencer’ probably on the back of him. Not her fault. Just the way it is.
If he’s done this he’s out of control but like all valuable assets the club will back him with all the psychological help he needs. It’s the modern way. He’s a very very lucky boy. Be interesting to see if plod really investigate it. Looked awful in the photos. Poor girl.

Have you heard the audio? No way Man Utd will support him. He’s in massive trouble.

Whether that’s true or not I’m glad it’s gone public. I’ve just listened to the audio. He’s in massive trouble. The police have arrested him. I wasn’t aware of the full extent in my earlier post
 
I hope the young lady is safe and away from what on the evidence presented. Truly sickening.

Mind you who would have guessed this when the filthy beast tried to sneak a girl in to the England team hotel during the strictest of Covid times.

The priority is the young lady.

They have the audio and the video. She'd have to somehow explain those away, which would be very tricky. The police will be under huge pressure to charge Greenwood given the evidence that has already been made public.

Men can be convicted of assault even if the victims refuse to help the police. Danny Simpson was convicted of attacking his ex-girlfriend even though she didn't support the prosecution. Vikki Agger pleaded with the police not to prosecute Tom Meighan, but he was still convicted. It happens all the time.

Saying he must have been out of control is to fundamentally misunderstand male violence against women.
It's all about being IN control.
Men that do this believe they have the right to do so.

Lets see what plays out, she is in a very difficult situation. I do not care what happens to him, if he is guilty ? But this will change both there lives for ever, and not in a good way. To be honest I will not be following this.
 
No she doesn't have to press charges for the police to prosecute, it changed a few years ago re abused wives ,all they have to do now is prove a crime has been committed it doesn't matter if she retracts it if there's evidence they'll prosecute.

The majority of young men on that silly money treat their partners with the respect they deserve.
His behaviour was from upbringing earlier in life and the wealth may simply have brought it before the public in his case.

That we don't know and never will know,
What we are left with is supposition however it appears to me to be a problem
with being a status symbol going to his head....,......... he isn't the only one and probably not the last, for some recognition corrupts the mind
