Mendy in?

This illustrates that Smith hasn’t had a handle on the squad since he arrived.

I’m not saying it’s wrong to have Mendy in, but why now? Where was he 2 weeks ago when we couldn’t keep possession of the ball?

what on earth does Soumare and N'Diddi do to ever get picked ?

There must be some strange stuff that goes on at the training ground to ever think they should even be on the bench.

If you stuck Tete and Daka together they would still be too weak to play at any decent level. Do they play none contact football at Seagrave ? We got rid of Perez for this reason, yet hes 100 times better than these two.

I’m still trying to get my head around Mendy’s exclusion from the entire squad against Fulham when he was exactly what we needed in that game. That was the moment my faith in Smith, such as it was, drained away.

If Percy is correct, I’m glad that Smith has seen sense and decided to play a defensive midfielder who might actually help protect the defence and prefers passing to his own teammates rather than the opposition. The inclusion of Ndidi is harder to explain.

There aren't many guaranteed starters in current state but for me Mendy is one.

Its interesting that in seven years at the club no manager has ever really fancied him (Chowdhary used to get picked ahead of him) but none have wanted to get rid either.
 
To be fair though, when have we been able to get rid of a player we don’t want?
It’s been a long old time since some team have given us some shillings for some surplus to requirement’s player.

Specially as n'didi has shown time and again that he is less effective when he has another defensive midfielder alongside him....and that was back when he was good.

I've just given him a ring and he's on his way up. He's a blue badge holder, so hopefully he'll be able to find a parking spot near the ground.
 
Bnet is correct, we shipped out a player who has more ability than most of the squad of tossers we have and sign the only Brazilian who can't play football.
Perez was almost never played in the position he was signed for, nstead he was stuck out right most of the time
As with Praet and mendy never given a proper chance under our elite wanker.
By the way I put beet in and the predictive text came up with beetroot .!!!!!!!

Funny how our memories get clouded when desperation sets in.

Perez was and I imagine most probably still is absolute shite and not someone you want by your side in the trenches of a relegation dogfight.

Maybe so Case, but the players who could have got us out this shit lost interest months ago because they were being asked to perform along side some total shit players, following total shit tactics, we had lost the game before it started on most occasions.

People will only carry shite work colleagues for so long, then they start to think "why the fuck should I even bother", but you already know that :)
