I'd go Simone or Potter, although I hear the word on the street is Dyche is in the pecking order. Fuck em, lets stick with Brendan and see what he can do next season, we could make him famous.Sack the cunt, Dyche in, if not him then Simone
Isnt this our 6th best prem finish? Has Brendan had a better record than MON? Do we really want Dyche to stifle our attacking players? Who can we get to do better?
Puts things into prespective thoughActually it’s equal 4th. Obviously the year we won it, the last two seasons 5th and MON got us 8th in his last year. In our history I believe in 1927 we came 3rd, the following year 2nd and in 1963 the ice kings came 4th.
So in our 138 year history this is the 7th equal best we’ve ever achieved. Bloody shite isn’t it.
Did you get a subscription out of him,Micky? He always seemed to be moaning on about lack of funds! The Roof received a lovely e-mail from Sean Dyche
No, not yet. I suppose he'll pay cash when we meet at the GlobeDid you get a subscription out of him,Micky? He always seemed to be moaning on about lack of funds!
It starts in 11 weeks (or just less than) on Saturday 6th August. We have the 8th highest wage bill in the EPL
We have the 5th highest paid 'elite' manager. He is paid premium money to get us higher than our wage budget allows
We have the best training facilities in the EPL.
Rodgers has been given more resources & rewards than any other manager in the Club's history. Comparing our disappointing season with the performance of any previous season is complete and utter nonsense. Throwing Dyche into the ring as a justification for keeping BR is a straw man argument. Sean Dyche will never be Manager of LCFC. Anyone offering him as a serious candidate is deluded
I respect those that are willing to give BR the opportunity to prove that he is as good as he thinks he is but every argument offered to support keeping him is flawed. The Club are being pragmatic but they knows and he knows that the heat is on.
Anyway, he is staying. The Club will give him chance to remedy his many errors and failings. 12 weeks to the the first game of the new season is not very long to shuffle the pack and 'freshen' things up. The 2022/23 fixture list is out in 23 days
Wonder if maddison will get a deserved chance?Between now and then we have a round of 3 games in the Nations League.
I suspect not.Wonder if maddison will get a deserved chance?

Europa Conference I agree. Europa League though worth trying to win.Why hanker over the dredge of B rate European competition
because the experience all counts for both the players and management team, Each year playing in Europe makes you cuter, more streetwise better able to handle two games a week etc. Also higher club profile and better able to attract and retain players not to mention the extra a few quid involved. Why hanker over the dredge of B rate European competition
Enjoyed our UEFA Cup trips for winning the League Cup twice. For me, it's CL or forget it. Sorry.
Both excellent points, Dags.I’ve two comments to make.

Secondly, and that said, keep the Super League in the backs of your minds. Coefficiency is on a 5 year cycle. Wouldn’t it be great if in a few years if (when) this comes around again, we were one of the top 6 in England in co-efficiency, probably ahead of Arsenal, Spurs or maybe Man U, but are overlooked as we’re not seen to be big enough.
