My final words on BR

Roofer
This Man this so called elite Manager got me more angry than any of our dreaded trio.
How so many pundits can drool over his style of play is beyond words.
He took over a very decent side that was a success over the next couple of years that
Should have been playing with the elite and make no mistake it was down to his stupidity that we didn't.
He then decided that our football style needed a radical change, to play from the back with possession football now don't get me wrong the style is brilliant but you have to have players that are quick responsive and damned good with the ball at there feet and to move to open space to receive it, therein lay our problem we hadn't the type of players on our books, yes you can training brain them in this style but if their instincts are not comfortable with it then you have lost before you begin.
This is where BR compounds his elite status
He should have experimented then seen it uncomfortable for the players and reverted to another style of play, but he didn't and persisted as if there was no other style suitable .
That alone should have set alarm bells ringing, for me it was obvious the players were nowhere near good enough for the
Extended pass and move game because we weren't accurate enough with the ball
Players lose confidence if the aren't comfortable in possession and to carry on
was an act of arrogance and distrust of players ability hence his outbursts which
Further alienated players and showed his intransigence which has led to our demise
This Season good manager but elitist my arse

The man was deluded.

He’s a charlatan and a fraud and had no idea how to change a game or set a side up to defend a lead.

I despise the midget big nosed caaant and he’s destroyed a very good football club.
He's not on your Christmas card list then.?

I wouldn't ever say he was a "good manager" because he wasn't and he isn't. A good manager as to "manage" he couldn't, hes an arrogant self important conman. I now hate him more than Taylor, for what he did to a great squad and his horrible fraudulent front that he put up. He always tried to act thoughtful, when the only thoughts he had were deceit and to shift the results of his inabilities on to others.

This apologist bollocks talk, like, HE gave us 2 top 5 finishes and a FA cup shite are not true. The great squad did, in spite of him not because of him got these results. The FA cup was lucky, the two top fives were actually failures if you are honest, but the "pundits" have little knowledge of LCFC they just blag their way through, much like Rodgers.

Fuck the wanker, l hope he never sets foot in Leicester again like Taylor hasn't.

Bnet he is a good manager but with limitations that are self imposed because he believes in a strategy that not everyone can undertake, I take your point though, you see he has a philosophy but fails to take into account that he has to diversify at times to get results, therein lies the problem as he has a small squad with which to chop and change but will not change his plan to suit change ......pig headed big headed ......but he had to get other team plans if he wants a successful team.

Oh how we should have sacked him after scraping that FA CUP win. We could have attracted a proper elite manager then.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The reality is we’d never have sacked him after winning the cup, not in a million years.

There’s more of a chance he‘d have quit and moved on thinking he couldn’t better what we’d achieved.

He should of gone before the Forest home game this season. Stuffing the reds that night might just prove to be the biggest disaster ( footballing wise) to happen to the club. Comprehensively winning against the local foe gave us much more damaging time under his stewardship.

He WOULD have gone......

Whilst it might seem totally mad I honestly believe he was ‘trying’ to get the sack from day 1 of this season. The guy is a control freak and along with his narcissism meant that as soon as he didn’t get what he wanted in the summer he went into baby mode.
I’ve said my feelings about him in previous threads but everything is all about him. Everybody and everything else is second. Selfish, greedy and has dismantled a very good side inside 18 months.
Finally I always thought if a manager finally won the cup in my lifetime for my beloved Leicester, he would be right up there with my biggest heroes at our club. But I’ve made a massive exception in his case. I despise him and his recent actions, all of which will IMO sadly lead to our relegation and possible demise for seasons to come. I’ll watch his future v carefully and it’s going to be interesting to see which gullible chairman next takes on Brand Brendan

we'll agree to disagree, l also think hes an absolute wanker.

Said it so many times, the fa cup win was lucky!! Kasper's world class save and Youri's brilliant goal no question.
I really don't remember having another attempt on there goal? and the chillwell disallowed goal was a bonus. The disaster when we had champions league in the bag was bad management and a complete cock up, I believe this imposter has had the board over with bullshit and confidential information!!! What else could it be? I totally agree he is worse than Taylor, he hadn't been here 5 minutes before he was looking to leave for arsenal! Or was he? He's hoodwinked the media and played on the support of the likes of Sutton and co ' but I believe Simon Jordan has his card marked!!!.
The good thing is he's gone now and hopefully where ever he goes he will show his true colours and certainly fail again justifying the decision of Liverpool aswell as leicester to bin this shit bag.

I'm gradually coming round to that sort of thinking as well. In hindsight it appears almost obvious the way he mismanaged the first game against Brentford, in particular given the lame excuse afterwards that the players were tired from preseason training.

It all smells of an underlying attitude of "if I don't get my way then fuck off, sack me and pay me off, I don't give a shit anymore!" - and tallies with the other stories from within the club which are now gradually coming out.

I wonder whether one day there will be one of those "Under The Cosh" podcasts with a former player of his that gives us more insight into his methods.

Should have called his bluff re Arsenal rather than rewarding him with a massive increase and contract that then meant we couldn’t get rid of him.
